Here's that man again,

Still sitting on a rapidly shrinking pile of salvaged cedar boards, constantly trying to think of things to make with the stuff.

A finger-jointed decorative box, 14x8x8 inches, with a glued-up scrap/quilt lid panel. Cedar planed to 5/8" thick, 1/4" finger joints cut, the whole thing stained with a dark Chestnut gel-stain, that might be just a leeeetle TOO dark. *Shrug*

This one goes for the Family free-for-all Christmas present exchange. :)

Thanks for looking!

If it's anything like Darren's family present exchange, I'm sure it will go fast and furious.

Who doesn't like a nice box?

Which reminds me, my inventory is getting low, cause I've been giving them away. Time to fire up the box factory!

Nicely done. I thought I had scored when I snagged a batch of ceder fence boards from a neighbor. Every time I try to work the stuff en mass I get respiratory trouble, DC respirator and all. They just set there looking at me.
