    I saw that on the Today show this morning and PM'd Stu to take cover....hope he did.

    Thanks for the concern, but we are well away from the coast, and VERY high and dry here.

    If my house ever got hit by a Tsunami, well 3/4 of Tokyo would have to be under water.

    The earthquake was located north/east of Hokkaido, the northern most island in Japan. If the tsunami had reached Tokyo...there would have been havoc over much of the top half of Japan!

    When I worked in Tokyo, the office was on a man made island, surrounded by big concrete flood gates, in case of a tsunami. I was more worried about a big earthquake sinking the island...
