    New to me Stanley 45

    I got this one from Craig list usely I don't buy from internet to much, but I had to go look at this one, all in $100.00 for all so do you think I did good

    For comparison there is a 55 here on CL with one cutter. He's asking 250. I say you did good.

    It looks like you got all of the parts so that is a very good deal. I have two just like yours. Most likely the irons will require a good hone then make some shavings. You may want to make some custom fences to go with the plane.

    Will do started honing them an sharping them, Keeping one set for myself an putting the others by for right now

    I watched Roy Underhill make his 11 groove box today. He used this very same plane and it really worked sweet. I would say you found a great deal and will have considerable enjoyment from it in the future. Will be watching for posts on projects where it is used.
