    Very old movie anyone remember it

    Hooray to google for years every now and then i have a desire to know what the name was of a movie i saw that had a lasting impact on me today for some unknown reason i thought of this one.

    It wasn't shown in Spain at that time, otherwise I would remember. I used to go to movies every week, sometimes twice.

    I also graduated HS and went into University that year. It was released in May, 1968, when I was wrapping up my freshman year and trying to find a summer job. I doubt if this ever came near Welland, Ont. In any case I probably would have missed it because of the stellar cast and the great writing as evidenced in the trailer. The only actor I recognized at all was Martin Benson, who I remember for some reason or other.

    About this time, i saw a very good war movie called Beach Red, which came and went without much notice, but showed some of the more grisly aspects of the war in the Pacific, insofar as they could in 1967.
