Carving Wooden Pliers

Great video but i think more important a great man. Love his practicality, straight forwardness down to earth .....you can do it , little trial and error, and you will need a few band aids. None of this long winded disclaimer nonsense. :thumb:

My wife still has a pliers that this guy's dad made about fifty years ago. Moony Warther was probably about 70 back then, and he'd sit out under the grape arbor making those pliers and giving them to visitors. His train - and other - carvings were unbelievable, and back in those days, were just sitting out in the open for visitors to get close enough to touch. Today, in the new museum building, they're safely displayed behind glass. His old shop, and the grape arbor, are still there, though.

Son David is now better known for his kitchen knives - works of art in their own right. He's recently opened a new place of his own on Route 39, between Sugar Creek and Berlin, Ohio.
