A nod to Dan Noren - His idea, my modification

Building on Dan's excellent design of an Advent candle holder, I decided to carry it over for another church season - Lent. No, there is no precedent I am aware of for a Lent candle holder, but every tradition has to start somewhere!

    Thanks Dan!

Excellent on both arrangements, Rennie! I really like the second version with the inlays.

i like the second one better, seems a cleaner design than the first one, and more balanced. considering lent is the 40 days until easter, i would stick with 4 lighter color candles (light purple, pink, or even a light green), and a taller white one in the middle. one candle to be lit every 10 days, and the white one on easter. inspired an idea that i'll forward to you, to see what you think (involves purpleheart).
