    small bell

My first of hopefully many bells. This one is 4.5" tall. Finished with a mix of linseed oil, shellac, and de-natured alcohol.Click image for larger version.

That's a nice little bell, Dave. Did you buff it?

    Neat!

Its basically the top part of a goblet, which opens up some interesting ideas. Bells and Goblets!

    That is inspiring.

So is the notion of a micro shop. Expound more on that in a new thread, please.

Dave, I am interested in your micro shop as well. Also, you do know you are part of this family thus are invited to the Family Gathering in July. If you were not aware of it, read up on it, you are invited and all would be more than welcome.

Perhaps micro is not the right term...it is 8' x 16'. I will start a new thread in the Shop Tours category along with some pics in the next few days.

    Dave,
That's a really nice looking bell. Are you planning on putting a clapper in the bell?

This is one I tried to make a few years back... it was fun, but haven't tried one since... yours looks more like a bell than mine.
