Next Saturday, Feb. 21 the Durham Woodworking Club in Oshawa will be making a presentation of 200+ turned pens to Jim Shaver the originator of the project www.Pens for Canadian Peacekeepers.ca.

This group turned by myself is just a small group of those to be presented!

It feels great to sell a pen,
It feels even greater to give one to a friend!

Great pens for a great project. My prayer is that they all get home safely. My nephew is going to be deployed to Pakistan as an embassy guard this summer. Exciting times.
    Cheers,

Hi Roger; Along with the pen is my letter to each soldier in which my thought goes like this "My prayer that goes along with this pen, is that it returns to Canada safely in your pocket and you continue to use it for many years!"

Mack, you are a true craftsman. You have inspired me in many ways. I'm always in awe of the pens you create. That group of pens looks great and I'm sure they will be well appreciated.
