    bought some new tools

    Bought some new and used tools!

    1. bought a 6 x 80 Shop Fox edge sander, been setting a little while and had to clean it up.
    2. bought a Grizzly drum sander 18 36 model so far nothing but trouble.
    a. would not deliver it to the house they don't go down dirt road
    b. had to drive 60 miles one way to get it and terminal
    c. they did a crummy job of loading
    d. got home and un-crated it and cover to motor was dents, had to be dented at factory
    e. set it up and drive belt made a heck of a noise (see pic of what I found.
    f. have to adjust feed if I can as it won't feed stock in good

    I see some loose nut got loose in there. Every group seems to have one; I think I am the one in F.W.

    I don't know what happened to you. Griz has a very good reputation. Both my son, Glenn, and I own and are happy with our Griz tools.

    How did it work at all with that nut over one of the sprockets?

    That nut on the sprocket is crazy. I'd do as Carol suggests, grizzly's customer service is usually pretty good.
