    Cherry Aquarium Stand

I just finished this aquarium stand for a customer of mine. It's for a 90 gallon stand 48"x18"x36" He asked me to copy his kitchen cabinets which were made out of cherry. The cabinet was not a problem but the color was. His kitchen was about 5 years old and there were stained at manufacture. They wanted $135.00 a quart of stain that I though was crazy! I ended up mixing my owe which was nightmare to get right. The customer lived about 300 miles from me so he sent me a lot of pictures and a small piece of molding to go by. He ended up being very happy with the stand and the match. I hate matching colors and most of all I hate staining cherry it should be left alone the darken on it own!

    Beautiful creation, Joe!

I agree with you about staining cherry, but the customer is always the customer!
