    Zebrawood Knife Block

    Hi Everyone
Here are a few photos of my latest Custom Knife Block Project.
Made from Zebrawood with Cherry slot face.
    Measures 15" L x 9" W x 11" tall and weighs 19 lbs .
All of the Zebrawood sections are bookmatched.
The interior sections that make up the thru slots are made of cherry.
Finished with 5 coats of wipe-on satin poly
    Challenging project

Very nice job Mike, someone will be happy when they get that one.
I'm supposed to respect my elders, but its getting harder and harder for me to find one now.

Nice job, I love the cherry face grain on it.

If I'm reading that right you built boxed in sections for each knife section that the face is attached to?

That's gorgeous! I'd build a knife block, but my wife puts the knives in the wrong slots to make me crazy...

That's a stunner Mike!! Timely since this is the next project on the block for me. No glue lines on the cherry or hidden by a faceplate? Beautiful!!
