Couple new bowls and a gift

I had a couple hours free Friday night while the wife took our daughter and niece to a movie. I was able to turn a couple small bowls 1 from maple, just over 5", and a cedar one that is about 3.5". I still need to turn off the tenon and finish the bottoms on these. The next morning, my niece ask me to show her how I turn the bowls. I had another hunk of cedar so I turned a 3" version, signed it and gave it to her. She said she'll use it to keep her rings in. Happy uncle, happy niece!

Nice pieces of wood - the grain pop on that cedar one is amazing!

I agree with Jim. Great for M&M's! Quite nice bowls. Gotta keep them happy, right?

I really like your bowls. However, the fifth picture is the winner.

    Enjoy,
