Quality shop time this past weekend

Three of my nephews were visiting this past weekend and I got some one-on-one shop time with each of them. We laid out car shapes on 2 x 4's, they helped do some drilling and sanding while I did all the cutting. Just added some store bought wooden wheels. Their dad came up and helped me do some final assembly after the paint dried, so he and I had some good chat time as well after a long day.

Quality time indeed, they look like they enjoyed the shop time.

    Yeah - fer sure.

My 2 year old grand son spent a couple of days here this week, but I was too tired to go out in the shop.

I told my daughter I should get him in the shop with me.

    She said yes.

I had her in the shop with me when she was younger also. My son was too.

Those are nice times for sure

Very cool, Darren. I still have fond memories of quality shop time with my granddad when I was about the same age as your nephews.

I had a great time with them for sure, will do a bit more planning for next time and have a project they can do more of themselves with a little guidance.
