    I do most of my playing practicing on a drum stool in front of my music masheen (DAW). I've had the fold up metal foot rest for about 35 years. Amazing it is still holding up as I kick it over all the time and it's a pain to get back upright.

    So I put together some 2x4's, and angled the top a bit to make one that weighs a bit more and should be able to stay put a little better.
