Glenn dropped by and we took to the shop. For Christmas I received a coupon good for one "Lumber Rack Re-Org". I am cashing in part of that . Glenn says this one incorporates all the fixes for the mistakes he made on his first two that reside in his shop so, I got that going for me. I don't stock a lot of lumber so the width is 32". It is positioned in the shop to take advantage of an open overhead area that leads up to a high-point of the roof line. This shot shows scale and height of the back-rest / divider.
The base is not as deep as Glenn's; I set the depth at about 9" since that will fit most of my stock.
I set my indentured servant to loading the beast up. Now the south wall holds a lot more stuff and even has some open space on it .
. .
After lunch we'll go after the horizontal rack.
