Do you know what this is?

My daughter called me last night and asked me if I could make one of these. I first said, "What the heck is that?" so she sent me a photo and some dimensions. So I made it. I had never heard of one before, it may be an American thing, or a young people thing, but can you tell me without just guessing, what it is?

OK, you probably do know what it is, as it's an American thing. *sigh*, just when you think you've found something new, the world catches up with you.

Got it in one, Ted! I had never, ever in my life heard of or seen a muddler. Now I have to make a few, for my kids, their friends, their friends' friends...

Ah, back when I started turning, those were called bonkers. Leave it to those dang kids to come up with another word for them.

And congrats on your first successful commision job.

I was going to say a rolling pin.

Had to google muddler to find out what it really is.

My parents taught me to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder to find any.
If you go looking for trouble, it will usually find you.
