Fitting for Big Gulp Dust Hood

Anyone bought a fitting to fit this dust hood? I could make one but if Lowes has something I would just as soon buy it. What did you use?

Not for that specifically but I've had good luck with the fernco rubber fittings in the plumbing supply section. Sometimes it takes a bit of looking to find the one that fits just right but once you get it they tend to fit on pretty nicely.

I use something along these lines on the end of my 4" flex hose. It connects quickly to my Big Gulp scoop, by bandsaw, or my tablesaw:

I'm with Fred, slip the hose on and tighten the screw in the hose clamp.

However, I must add---With the very efficient 2hp DC I had at that time, the gulp was almost useless. I was serious about the very efficient 2hp DC. The woodworkers who saw it could not believe it was only 2hp.

    Enjoy,
