    I figured that you cnc guys would be familiar with this. It popped up on my facebook and looked like something I'd have fun with. Maybe make a few bucks with too.

    It's very popular, so there's a waiting list but the reviews are good. It really is very similar to what Dan and I bought. The major differences are the motor plates on each end of the gantry and the spindle mounting plate. The spindle is similar but operates on 24VDC whereas ours is on a 48VDC power supply doesn't mean it doesn't produce the same power; they wanted to have only one power supply with both 24 and 12 volt sources for this package.

    If you're thinking about a hobby package, this could be a good option. If you want to check into it a bit more, look at the Inventables Forum.

    If you look real close, it uses the same MakerSlides as our SO2 only in black rather than aluminum finish.

    Edit: If I wanted the beefier components (which look good), I could order the basic SO2 update for $200, but I've done a couple of things on mine so I'll keep my money.
