interesting halftone picture software

while contemplating the fun i was having with photovcarve, i came across some videos of cnc machines making halftone pics. there were a pair of programs that caught my eye, and the one i preferred was one called halftoner, found at www.jasondorie.com. haven't tried it out on the cnc, but the previews look pretty darned good.
 
I have Halftoner downloaded and ready to try as soon as I get caught up. :) It does look like a neat program so I'm going to sure give it a try! There's a guy on PlasmaSpider (and also the PlasmaCam owner's forum) that has been using it and it makes some very nice jobs!
 
I looked at Halftoner before I built my CNC and thought it and Reactor might be something to use down the road. Now that I have PVC, I have no use for Halftoner.

In case you don't catch it on your PVC thread, here is the result of running your PVC gcode on my SO2 today.

With a little sanding to remove the fuzzies.
