I saw this on facebook and thought $30. was a little much.

So I dug into the scrap bucket and came up with this.
(well actually it didn't look quite like that in the bucket)

A little double-sided tape and works great.:thumb:

Saw that too! It's definitely on my todo list. I like the way you routed it better than their squared off version.

Ingenious idea. I used to use trunking for same purpose but this is better.

OK what is "trunking?" Is that the way elephants kiss? Or is it what happens when she says, "Get out of here you inconsiderate so and so?" I'm sure Ryan can come up with a few more of these. I shudder to think of what Vaughn might come up with...Oh yeah not to mention Bill and a few others.

Enjoy,

Actually my first version was the squared off style. I found that the tabs tended to break when cutting the cross slots.

I wondered about that. It did look like the grain would be a little sensitive in that area. The rounded profile I bet is much stronger. Kind of like a fillet of glue used on model airplanes.
