    Walleye and the grill

Has anyone cooked walleye on the grill? We don't get it that often and I have a fillet to fix tonight. I'm thinking of wrapping it in foil with butter and maybe Canadian steak seasoning and putting it on the grill. We can't have fried foods with my wife's diet, so fish has become a particular challenge...given that's about the only way I fixed it. But we grill salmon regularly as I described and like it a lot.

Never had walleye but have had many a salmon grilled like you do. I smoke the fish a bit before foil wrapping it up with a bit of olive oil, thin sliced onion and a few capers.

Don't try it on Walleye. That's what we had last night and I didn't like it at all. At $15/#, I want something different for the next time.
