    And it works very well. Beautiful maple! Also substitute bonker as needed.

    I'm not sure what it is but whatever it is, it's a dandy.

    If there were slots cut into the end it would look like one of those monkey paw back scratchers.

    Very clever! Great idea and shape. I would not have thought of it's primary use as a back scratcher.
