Made of brass I think. Not to mention a very true sentiment.

    The workmanship is top notch.

The heart of the man who sent is just over the top.

    Thanks, Robert.

So glad it got to you ok! Hope it can be a reminder for many years to come! Since my wife is a nurse, I know how drab medical facility rooms can be so I was hoping it would find good use right away and not wilt before you bust outta there the end of the month or so!

Since this is a craftsman forum I'll elaborate on the construction. It is 10 gauge mild steel cut on the CNC plasma at 90 ipm. Then cleaned up with a wire brush and then a 60 grit flap sanding disc. Bend points for the stand are heated with a torch and bent. The finish is an acid patina called CopperFX that is sprayed on and almost immediately rinsed back off as it turnes a copper color almost immediately. A few coats of clear and it is ready to hopefully brighten someone's day.

Not only will it remind me of my Boss and the wonderful heart he created in you, but also allows me to brag to all the staff here what wonderful friends I have! It is beautiful and will always be treasured.

If there is a better forum than this family, it has yet to be invented!
