It is hollowed out to about 4mm thick, and is now taking a DNA bath :wave:

The wood is Ginko, it is fairly green, but not really wet.

I guess it would be just over 7" long?

Thanks folks!

This one was a hard sell,the blank had dried out a LOT, and there were numerous cracks in it.

I think the blank was at least twice the size as the final egg, oh well, lots of practice along the way.... :doh:
