    Jim Tolpin's Workshop

Last summer I posted (#12) about visiting Jim Tolpin's new shop while taking a class at the Port Townsend School of Woodworking. He mentioned at the time that Fine Woodworking was coming to take photos. They made it in the last issue I received. Also, I found the following video of the magazine's visit. Well, it is more of a montage of photos with Tolpin narrating. I thought it interesting enough to share.

Thanks for sharing Bill, there's a lot of good insight in just about every segment explaining each station.

Very cool video. I didn't realize he had switched over to using handtools exclusively. I know I learned a lot from his Tablesaw Magic book. I'm envious that you got to meet him and see his shop.

Well worth posting. A wonderful reward for a career woodworker.
