Drill Press Planer

Looks a lot like the Wagner Safe-T-Planer that left the marketplace a few years back (when the maker retired IIRC). Cool little tool but, as with all our tools, follow the instructions and be safe.

Yup, looks pretty much like a clone (although apparently the blades aren't compatible). I'm betting a bunch of old school luthiers are tickled pink to see this on the market.

The Safe-T part always had a bit of "and don't get your fingers caught in it" appended :D
 
I've got one of the wagners. I was quite intimidated the first time I used it, but it really worked quite well. Better than I thought as a matter of fact.
