    Cutting boards

I put together 2 quickie cutting boards as "yankee swap" gifts for tonights Lions club Christmas party.

I'm not sure if they are appropriate gifts for this kind of exchange but hopefully they like them.

I had some curly maple scraps left over and thought that they would be of good use on these.

Beautiful boards, Bob. I'd be very happy getting one of those as a swap gift.

If they ain't, they ought to be!

Cherry and ?walnut? for the rest of the wood? The dark pieces really have a lot of good contrast.

Those are great-looking boards, Bob. Those would be appropriate gifts for any gathering I'd want to be at.
