I came across an interesting story on the FWW site (three quarters of the way down, 4 April 2007 story).
It's about a submersible logging machine developed on Vancouver Island (where I live). Apparently there are vast forests underwater that contain billions of feet of pristine lumber
(I've geard about this before...)
It sounds like the environmentalists are on board with the idea according to this video from Fox. The Saw Fish web site is here.
