Hurry! Save them! Break out your old Cream, Jethro Tull, Hendrix, Bloodwyn Pig and Colosseum albums . . .. anything but disco!!!

Seems to me the boy has good taste in girlfriends, if not in music!

(ok, who am I to talk, I've got some disco on my jukebox, lol).

    Hah, yep.

Although we haven't had even CD's much less vinyl for over 15 years around our house... the convenience of digital was a little to strong.

A friend of mine collects vinyl. He has in the neighborhood of 10,000 records.

It's a record player! Vinyl forever! I read this post and then ask my wife if she would like to listen to records tonight. I selected Stevie Ray vaughn, Jackson Brown, Joni Mitchell, maybe Janis Joplin or The 1812 overture with real canons, and Van Morrison for his wood working song "O Redwood Tree" to finish the evening. The Vinyl sound is what i grew up with and still think it can't be beat, regardless what the specs say. Vinyl is having a small resurgence.

Don't give Brent any ideas. He gets 5-6 arriving weekly.
