Tool Holder - Excuse to Show Off a Christmas Present

This is just a silly post to stimulate some conversation. Alright, you got me; I also wanted to show off the handy little item my MIL got me for Christmas. The tool holder is just a piece of walnut out of the scrap bin milled true, grooved along its length and cut to size(s). I countersink for screws.

I also counterbore the back to clear the plastic inserts.

They are on one of the orphaned "wings" of my Plane Till that is finally starting to come together and be a useful space.

Fancy! I store my drywall and framing squares with a similar solution above some of my bar clamps on the wall. Sure makes them easy to find and get to.

I like your idea... pretty neat.

My squares came with holes already drilled at the corner junction, so I just hang them on a nail...

My parents taught me to respect my elders, but it's getting harder and harder to find any.
