There are some deep dark holes on the 1200 acre campus where I work. Despite being here many years there are still places I have not been. Had to visit a service room in a Plant Pathology Lab building today and came across these:

The Kalamazoo horizontal bandsaw caught my eye because I have looked into their sanders in the past. The lathe adjustments moved like butter and felt like the day they were made. Reminds me of a 1940's Delta drill press I had for awhile.

Oh those would be fun to use. I almost purchased a metal lathe the other day, decided I'd better wait until I get a couple of house projects done, otherwise my wife would have me put out on a stake.
