Think my turkey season and bike ride to the southwest are going on hold

Doc ordered me to see a cardiologists at 10 o'clock tomorrow, she wanted me to come in this afternoon but I was heading up to and Boonsboro turkey hunting.
I can use your prayers, I think I'm heading into some sort of overhaul.
    Thanks

You got 'em, my friend! Don't read too much into it, yet. Might be some minor problems that require medication that your regular doc feels need being taken care of by a specialist. But, nonetheless prayers and best wishes are coming your way. Hoping all is well.

We have reached that point in life to take better care of ourselves. Hard to not continue to ride hard and put ourselves up wet. But now is the time, my friend. You and me both - and a few others here! Take care, Dave. Prayers ascend.

That bear scared you that bad???!!!!!

Been seeing a heart doctor for about 3 or 4 years now. They can do a lot without opening you up. Good luck my friend!

A few years ago I was having chest pains in the afternoon and so the doctor put me on this nitrate stuff called Imdur or something like that. The chest pains continued and kinda puzzled them for a bit. They kept thinking, I guess, that my pains were in the morning even though I kept telling them in the afternoon. They rain all kinds of tests. Nothing showed except scar tissue on the heart from previous heart attacks. A very young cardiologist switched me from the imdur stuff to one that I take twice a day instead of once. After about two days of the new stuff, the chest pains ceased. Haven't had them since. Something runs in my family that if not receiving the right combinations of meds, my heart will just take off for the races. No clots, no arterial restrictions, nothing like that. Just does. As we get older, things need some help sometimes. All will be fine, I am quite sure.

No sense in worrying 'til they check you out. Keep your chin up.
