Hey, guys, I've been thinking about building a really good router table but in my research, I've discovered that building a router table can get pretty costly. Not to mention the cost of a new router for handeld use.
So I was wondering, I am planning on buying a shaper anyway, and the one I am looking at in particular isn't much more expensive than the table I was planning on making so I may as well get it sooner rather than later.
But that leaves me with the burning question. If I do get the shaper, do I really need a router table as well? I mean, I know that there is the speed issue of having to change from collet to shaper blades and vice versa, but is that the only reason to make the router table?
