1st , back to the DOE. This is the big guys corner office dinning room table. The sheen is 50/50 high gloss & satin. sanded with 600, 2000 and 4000 grit wet sand finial.
I have not added any polish just because the table is particle board and shows ever rise in the wood . I think this is the best sheen for what I had to work with. Because of the particle board all the edging needed to be removed, cleaned of glue and re-attached.

Now for the good one. We have taken in the oldest piece I've ever done, 1650's French drop front desk. This is so cool and needs a lot of attention. From veneer repair to structural damage. I'm not sure if this will get an oil finish, french polish or lacquer yet. It's had 3 different style handles and leather changes and refinishing, but the rest is all original.

3rd, a ornate carrara marble top fire place face plate. it busted in half and 5 missing pieces. So far using my epoxy puddy has worked well but I am searching for a new material , or marble type powders to create and outer layer.

You know Dave we haven't sat down and had a cigar in a long time. It sounds like fun. But anyways I find myself showing people you ink art when I get into a art conversation with people and all I get is WOW. I am always waiting to read a post from ya when it shows what you are working on. You do so well on you art, painting and misc projects. But I will never forget when you made a knot disappear in front of 8 people's eyes at Larry's that was incredible. Cheers
