Shop Build - Winding River Workshop

More like $200 perhaps 160:with coupon, only thing then is storage space it consumes, i found this out with the drywall lift i used for my shop. Became a pain to store so sold it to my neighbor at my last place.

I was going on info from a friend of mine that owns one, remembering now that he purchased his some years ago.

Interesting, Rob's right on the current price - a very similar looking one is for sale at Home Depot for $170, I don't usually think of them as cheaper than harbour fright.

No pics today. Finished the roof decking and started the facia and rake boards (Larry, the 8" rake board is attached the the 2 X 4). Tomorrow I'll get the rest of those up, cover them in vinyl, attach to drip edge and start roofing. Jan convinced me to pick up one of these when I went out to pick up a few items I ran short on. With coupons and rebates it was $78. I guess that's a lot cheaper than an ER visit!

Been moving along slowly. Never did vinyl soffit and facia before so I had to learn as I went. Then came the roof. 6:12 pitch is a little scary, but I got to the half way point today. If all goes well I hope to finish this up by the weekend.

Great looking shed.

I was glad to get my roof done also - absolutely NOT fun.

I didn't do a ridge vent, but I did do huge gable vents.

I do love the views from your yard, river view is to dream of. I hope you have a couple of chairs and a bit of shade. I would be sitting there for hours at a time.

Are you going to put electric underground?

Yes, I am going to run electric underground. The light over the rollup door, a light alongside the man door, and at least two small fixtures and one outlet inside. As for the chairs in the shade, you got it!.

Jan and I took a few days off and headed north to take advantage of some great weather. Did a little sight seeing and a lot of bike riding.

So today the vacation was over and time to get back to work. Managed to get the door jamb installed and sided the third side of the building. Can't wait to get the shed finished so I can make some room in the shop and get started in there.
