birthday tostonera

the wife handed this one to me today. she wanted a tostonera for the birthday of one of her friends. like any good husband, i said ok (also gave me the opportunity to put the logo on the tostonera). had some spare white oak, and it was off to the races, planing, cutting, and hitting the cnc. all that is left to do, is put on the hinge, and hit it with the mineral oil.

I had to look up "tostonera" to see what it is. It's a Latin American 'nanner smoosher.

finished it up today with hinge and oil. just have to add the leather tie to it.
