one of my coworkers saw the plaque i made for the supreme boss's daughter's golden birthday, and wanted to know if i would make him one too. we agreed to walnut with gold lettering. started the process today. cut it to size, ran both parts through the planer (other part of the board will be used for supports), and routed the profile he wanted on the edges. then hit it with a good coat of seal coat. tomorrow, with the seal coat dried, i'll be taping it up, and doing the cnc work. once that is done, it will be gold paint for the lettering, and gluing on the supports on the back, and hitting it with a clear coat.

got the last of the gold painting of the text done (one letter at a time). now to give it a light sanding to remove the excess paint, vacuum out the lettering, and another coat of sanding sealer.
