A few recent turned items

Been a while sense I posted anything here. Been busy at work and stuff. These are a few bowls and coffee scoops I've turned recently. The bowls are 2 box elder and spalted maple. The coffee scoops have been a hit with friends a family.

The bowls are neat. The wood is perfect for the them.

The coffee scoops are out of this world. They are fun, useful, and fantastic as gifts or to sell.
Using that weathered decking was a great way to photograph them. The contrast between the decking and the finished, exotic woods really made the scoops stand out.

Very good work. At first I thought the coffee scoops were pipes, which has given me an idea. I love working with spalted lumber for bowls, too. My spalted bowls are my most popular.
