When I got set up in another shop she wanted me to buy one of those fancy black table-saws.
You may remember I got slightly injured while using the Delta combo at my Dad's around 3 years ago.
While running the jointer I moved my right hand & twang it hit the table-saw blade. The jointer & table-saw run
off of the same motor & I wasn't used to the saw & jointer being so close together. My Jointer sets to the left of
the router table on my Unisaw quite a ways from the TS blade. Even so I can shut off the tool not in use at the
time.
I have a good 1940's Unisaw & a Gold anniversary Craftsman contractor TS that was my Dad's from around 1957.
What I really want is a 8" Jointer & a good lathe.
