Somewhat Small Live Oak Mallet

Finished this up today. I liked the way it came out so I thought I would show it. I normally turn my mallets with a more standard head and handle but this just seemed to be the thing to do with this piece of scrap wood. The overall length is 8". The head is 2" in diameter and 3" long. The handle is generally 1" in diameter and 5" long. Sanded it to 800 grit. Nice bit of skew practice which I don't get enough of usually. Finished this with some friction polish that I keep around for odd and end items like this. Hope you like it.
