Welcome!

When I was 62 (a long time ago), I retired from a good paying job to expand my part-time furniture building to as full time as someone who is retired wants to make it. Woodworking has been a hobby all my life (sound familiar?) Over the last dozen years, my woodworking would not have earned enough for me to live the life style I like (we travel over 100,000 miles per year), but it has paid more than enough to buy a shop that is the envy of most folks, and enough that my CPA wife often says "couldn't you spend more, we are going to have to pay a bunch of taxes on your ..."

Enough people were envious of the process of my turning a hobby into a retirement business that I started a web site www.solowoodworker.com with suggestions ranging from business issues to advertising to changes in the woodworking process that seemed to help the business. It sounds like you don't need much help on the woodworking part, but you may find the other parts helpful if you want to "go pro."
