I have a close friend that had to have an oak tree taken down in her front yard... the tree was 52" across the top of the stump they left in the ground... My friend named her tree Isabella. I ruined 3 chain saws trying to cut a couple of burls and the limbs off Isabella... got lots of nice turnings from her, but left the trunk for someone else.
BTW, I've decided that my problem with the chainsaws was my ignorance, not a fault of the saws... two were electric and I've since figured out my extension cord was too small... I need at least a 14 or 15 amp cord and was only using a 12 amp... under size cords are bad for electric saws.... the gas saw I'm pretty sure my gas/oil mixture was too lean in oil...
