A little bit after lunch today P.O. man dropped off nice little package. I couldn't figure out where this came from or what it was until I opened it up and it came from a really cool guy on here. Nice little box of dogwood and he said Striker would be nice out of this , so open the box and turn one, this is really sweet thank you thank you sir. Love the sound I'm getting.
With no finish, it has a very nice silky feel and reminds me of sugar maple.

You're more than welcome, Dave. I had plenty to spare. Glad the striker sounds good. Some of the pinkish colored stuff seems a bit harder.

Ted, I plan on dropping the next striker into the hardener to get a sound check between both. Plus I know the hardener will greatly enhance the wood color tones.
