I know there are a couple of you that do youtube videos and such, I was looking at accessories for my action cameras last week on thingiverse and ended up going down the rabbit hole when I came across a gimbal build. I ended up finding one already built on ebay

The board has a built on accelerometer, is setup for 2 axis, and uses brush-less motors, As you can see in the first video, as I move the top mounting plate around, the gimbal will keep the camera pointing the same direction automatically.

Here is one video off it in action

Here is the video of it recording the action.

I did have to order a battery and charger for it too,so in about $50 for it. There is a button on the board you can push, then it gives you a few seconds to re position the camera and it will make that position the new zero to hold.

That is pretty cool. I'm glad you mentioned being able to reposition the camera angle because that was my first thought when watching this. Looks like it works pretty well.

Neat. Is this the same type action found in the GoPro Karma grip?

Yup, very similar, maybe a smaller and neater package than this though and for 1/10th the price or so too. ;)

I'm looking to print a grip for this one. Also may make a mount to put on the grandson's new powerwheel truck so I can get a view from his perspective. :)
