2000 year old boat from the Sea of Galilee

Probably not St.Peter's boat (he would have been the boat's owner, not Jesus) bbut a wonderful insight into the Bible stories. How long and wide? The Sea of Galilee is a very small lake. It looks like they used whatever wood they could find, more or less indiscriminately, in an area where there wasn't a lot of wood. Very much worth the trip to see.

Very interesting thanks Mohammad , kind of reminds me of the viking boat carcasses i saw in Denmark recovered from the sea. But in this case the sea is inland so must have been made local.
Although considering how far materials were sourced back in the day for the likes of the pyramids who knows. Pretty interesting.

Very interesting to see how many types of wood were used in the boat. As Roger said, it seems they were using whatever they could get their hands on. Thanks for sharing, Mohammad!
