started the pen production run today. getting 12 of them ready for the craft shows later this year. i'm using some of my really old cocobolo. the fun thing, is that i'm trying something slightly new in gluing the tubes. i had read some place, that one can use something like play-doh, or a slice of potato to block the one end, and prevent the super glue from getting into the tube. worked out pretty good. got the dozen blanks cut, drilled out, tubes glued, and the first 4 turned, and the fifth one ready to spin in the morning. should have the other ones done, and assembled tomorrow.

Those look like they are going to be really good looking! Play-Doh and Superglue. Two of man's greatest inventions. Gotta add duct tape to the list. Never thought of using Play-Doh for anything like that. Sounds reasonable to me. Good thinking!

finished up the pen barrels day before yesterday, and assembled the 12 yesterday. one already went as a graduation present.
