I use a trac-ball when working in Sketchup and have always been able to obit by holding in the center button (it's a wheel on my unit) and then use the ball to orbit the drawing. For some reason that has recently stopped working. I've checked to see that I have the latest version, my windows is up to date and there seems to be nothing about this in the knowledge base (that I could find anyway). I have also restarted my computer several times.

Anyone else experience this problem or know what the solution is?:huh:

OK .... Me---------->:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Should have done this first. Seems the switches in my trackball are the issue. I took it apart and used a little alcohol and compressed air and the orbit now works 9 out of 10 times. Might be time for a new trackball.:eek::eek:

Sorry. Late to the party. This Reno time has me confused.

My first advice to you is to try a different mouse and see what you get. Sounds like you got it sorted. I've never seen a case where reinstalling SketchUp would fixed a mouse problem.

Rennie, what version of SU are you using now?
