They look like replacement cutter bar sections for a sickle bar mower. The type I'm most familiar with had two holes at the base, instead of the single slot. Good hard steel, as I recall.

I'm slightly dubious. The holes for the cutters are important because they're designed so the rivets fail instead of the bar or the cutter when you hit a rock. It may well be my lack of imagination but I'm having a hard time seeing these mounted in a way that supports that.

Maybe hedge trimmer blades, they work in a similar fashion but are less prone to getting jammed into rocks? Hmm.. most of those are more saw toothy shaped though. I dunno..

No markings or letters on the packaging?
