So, I'm taking what may be my last ride out to Iowa this summer to visit him. But , he may stay out there for a while. His bride to be has a great job in her field and Jake can probably land an engineering job. So not all bets are off on the last ride.
Planning on riding to Sturgis to visit my friends who are in Alaska right now.
My plans on painting a mural in Germany was tossed a big monkey rench. The new commandant cut my painting time from 3 weeks to 10 days, August 1-10 Plus I would now have to stay off post.
I spoke to a couple of returning vets from Germany and they told me military personnel have to change into civvies when there off post because of the treat level. All to say, it doesn't sound much like fun. Art is fun for me and that's not it. So I missed out on a great bike trip to Alaska but I can meet up in Sturgis for the camp fire.
