oak mantel

Got this finished on Friday and installed yesterday. I've had the Oak beam for a few years now. It's 72.5" wide x 8 x 8. The guy that hung the "stone" went too high and they had to take some down. the beam covered most of the damage. I had to do a little patching to fix some that didn't get covered. Now to finish the two build-ins on either side.

Oh I like that!! Makes me warm and toasty feeling. Oh wait that's the summer sun. Bet it will keep you warm this winter. Also place to hang stockings for Christmas which is just around the corner.
